ANCORPRIM is a white solvent-based bonding primer designed for the preparation of new or stripped timber before painting. It improves the adhesion of finishing coats.

It is well suited for woodwork exposed to moisture on wooden boats: coamings, hatches, exterior timberwork and painted joinery. Its filling film helps produce a more even surface before topcoat application.

This primer can be applied by brush, roller or spray gun on clean, dry and properly prepared surfaces. It can be recoated after approximately 6 hours depending on temperature and humidity. Coverage is around 14 m²/L.

ANCORPRIM can also be used on other prepared substrates such as metal, PVC, plaster, laminate and fillers.

For durable protection of timber, it can be used in combination with ENCORBOIS marine paint.
