This chrome-plated brass bow fairlead guides a light mooring line or anchor rode at the bow of a small boat. Its two raised guides accommodate a rope or small-gauge chain, limiting sideways movement when the lead angle changes.

Its shaped base is secured to the deck near the bow with two screws. Installation must follow the direction of the line and provide sufficient clearance to prevent jamming and reduce chafing.

The bright chrome-plated finish complements silver-toned deck hardware and does not require the regular polishing of bare brass. This model is particularly suited to small classic boats where maintaining a consistent appearance throughout the bow fittings is important.
