For sale: Aristide, 7 m mahogany gaff cutter built in 1965, based in Toulon.

Carefully restored and maintained for over 20 years: relaunched in 2008 after full restoration, keel bolts replaced in 2011 at Le Guip, re-engined in 2016.

Generally sound, with some work required:

• Coachroof beams affected by rot; coachroof to rebuild

• Rudder to restore

• Engine gearbox/reversing gear to service or replace

• Seacocks (2016–2018) to replace as a precaution

• Wooden cleats to remake

• Paint and varnish on deck, rubbing strakes and coachroof to renew
