This solid teak and chrome-plated brass cleat combines the classic lines of traditional marine hardware with two functions on board: making fast and securing a mooring line or other control line, and providing a grab handle for support when moving around the boat.
Its cylindrical teak bar offers a secure grip and sufficient clearance for making fast a line. The two chrome-plated brass supports are secured with through-bolted threaded rods, leaving no visible screws on the bases. Installation requires access to the back of the mounting surface and fixings suitable for the loads involved.
The combination of teak and chrome-plated brass makes this cleat particularly suitable for fitting out and restoring classic sailing yachts and traditional boats.

Yes, M10 stainless steel machine screw fixings are supplied with the cleat.
This teak and brass cleat is also available with polished brass fittings on our website.
The chrome-plated brass fittings feature a bright, polished finish that protects the brass against surface oxidation and reduces maintenance requirements. Unlike untreated polished brass, they do not require regular polishing. Cleaning with fresh water and a soft cloth is generally sufficient to preserve their shine. Abrasive cleaning products should be avoided to prevent damage to the chrome plating.
Teak is a hardwood naturally suited to marine environments. When exposed to sunlight and weathering, it may gradually develop a silvery-grey patina. This natural change in appearance does not, in itself, affect its properties. The grain and colour of the wood may also vary from one piece to another.
