Bronze handed lipped fairlead

1113/BR/100BAB

€67.05

This solid bronze angled lipped fairlead is designed for mooring lines led off the deck at a lateral angle. Unlike a straight fairlead, its angled cheeks guide the change of direction. The downward-projecting lip protects the deck edge and reduces chafing against the wood, unlike the version without a lip.

Available in port-hand or starboard-hand versions, it is selected according to the line's route towards the quay and the cleat or mooring bitt. Its open groove allows the line to be inserted from above.

Available in 100, 150 and 200 mm, it suits the deck hardware of classic boats. Choose the size according to the mooring line diameter and lead angle.

Good to know

This angled lipped fairlead is handcrafted using century-old moulds, which may result in slight variations in the bronze. These characteristics give each piece its own distinctive character and authenticity.

Solid bronze offers excellent resistance to weathering and marine conditions, helping preserve the quality and integrity of the material over time.
